Toque Cheese and Bacon

I just had to buy this when I saw it, because I am a curious cat. Did I expect it to be great, or even good? No... I just know I had to try it. So temper your expectations if you are going in like I have. I will say the flavor is fairly accurate to the name. The initial odor of this is like sweaty socks or feet, more like a bleu cheese than a cheddar, with a heavy campfire smoke note on top of that as well. Not pleasant, but pungent.

It's hard to take without coughing or getting it in the lungs, similar to the W.E. Garret Sweet Dry Snuff, but with much less nicotine I believe. I did not feel much of a kick or burn from this one. Be gentle when sniffing it, it is like dust.

The initial flavor is that of bacon. Not real bacon, mind you. But fake, artificial bacon flavoring you would find on a bag of chips, or some novelty item at a joke shop. It is not offensively bad by any means, and quite accurate. But for someone to call this their favorite snuff of all time, I would have no choice but to think they've gone insane.

Toque is a great brand, in general, and they know how to make flavors well. If you want a fun novelty laying around, similar to owning a whoopie cushion, I would pick this up. The price is right after all... Also, it is totally useable and I will eventually finish it, no issue. Keep in mind though, that after the initial bacon flavor develops into a sweaty socklike, feety cheeselike smell and lingers in your nose for over an hour at least. I am highly tolerant of a lot of things, so it doesn't bother me so much. Just keep that in mind!!! Try at your own risk ;)
