This is the second Camel Crush cigarette that I have tried, the menthol version. The crush bead is there to increase the menthol flavor even more after popping it. I really enjoyed the other non-menthol --> menthol Camel Crush, but this one left me a little cold. I felt that the flavor before popping the bead was decent, almost similar to the non-menthol crush with the bead popped. Sort of a nutty, mild, creamy flavor -- but with an artificial menthol tacked on top of it.

Things went downhill for me on this one after popping the bead, I was not a big fan of the intense menthol it smacked me with, almost made me feel a bit nauseated (and it was not the nicotine...). The flavor was more peppermint for me, but a really intense artificial menthol on top of it, like I was breathing Vick's Vaporub or IcyHot. It penetrated my nostrils and my entire head, reminding me of the Red Bull nasal snuff, but in the worst possible way.

When I performed a retrohale on the smoke of this cigarette, it burned my nostrils really sharply, overall I found it to be unpleasant with a very artificial, chemically flavor. If you like Newports or those types of intense menthol flavors, you may enjoy this. But this was not my thing. I will say that I really enjoyed the non-menthol to menthol Camel Crush pack, but I cannot say the same for this one.
